Module 4

For this module, we go into the competitive side of Yu-Gi-Oh! and what you should be prepared for. When it comes to competitive sports, they are no joke. And competitive Yu-Gi-Oh! is no exception. From regionals to YCS, to even your local card store, you’re bound to run into some people that play competitively. And that’s why you’re here.

While understanding the rules of Yu-Gi-Oh! will help you win more of your duels, it’s also important that you learn how to deal with your opponents. We have the occasional cheaters and rule-sharks that will try to steal victory from you, so it’s important to learn how to deal with them. More importantly, learning how to maintain a proper, and fair, game state.

Of course, though, one thing to keep in mind as you go through this module is that: we are called “human beings”, not “perfect beings”. That means we are capable of making mistakes. Including the people around you. Not everyone is a bad apple, so it’s important that we do not hold grudges with anyone, even if they were wrong about something. Whatever falls before us, we will adapt and overcome.
