General Questions and Answers
Our goal is to help improve a player’s skills and better understand the game of Yu-Gi-Oh! Given how complicated this game can be, we want to make TCG Master Academy a place that can help players push through the grind of a starter and enter the professional world.
While we do encourage players to be themselves and play whatever they like, we are a place that looks to take part in the competitive side of Yu-Gi-Oh! If you are not interested in playing any kind of competitive Yu-Gi-Oh!, then we advise that you do not purchase any of our memberships, unless you are ready to take the dive into the competitive scene.
You do not need to have any trading cards in your possession in order to join. But we do request that you are able to play Yu-Gi-Oh! in either online or real life so you can put into practice what you have learned here. We also present a video in our training course that talks about the different places you can use to play Yu-Gi-Oh! online. And we’re not just talking about Master Duel.
We will also go over what you will need to play Yu-Gi-Oh! in person later in the course, and we encourage you to play in person Yu-Gi-Oh! for you to truly enjoy the game.
Our goal is to help improve player’s skills at the game of Yu-Gi-Oh! While you can Google search for most of the material that we teach here, all of that information can take you hours on end to find. And even then it may not be easy to understand as you read through them. We save you the trouble by gathering and explaining all of the information that you will need to know.
So instead of trying to get the information from multiple different places, you can have coherent and consistent information from just one place.
While the information we present will help you better understand and improve in Yu-Gi-Oh!, you will not see the results you are looking for unless you are willing to put in the work. Much like how an athlete must practice or a body builder must work out in order to improve and maintain their physique, you have to be practicing just as much as them in order to see the results you are looking for. We give you the tools and knowledge that you need, but the rest of the work lies with you.
Rules Questions and Answers
We have a zero tolerance policy towards any rude or un-sportsmanship type of behavior. If you are found guilty of this behavior, you will first be given a warning. And if you are found guilty of this behavior once more, your account/subscription will be terminated, and you will be forbidden from rejoining TCG Master Academy for the foreseeable future. No refunds will be given either.
- Insisting a player plays a deck how you think should be played instead of how they want to play it. It’s their deck, their choice. Not yours.
- Down talking or insulting a player. Even if it was just a joke, if the other party member deems it to be insulting, you will be asked to cease and desist this behavior.
We ask all of you to be nice and courteous to others while you’re here. If you believe someone has broken one of our rules, we ask that you contact us directly and provide proof of your accusation.
Memberships Questions and Answers
The first part of the course is free to the general public, whether you have a membership or not. However, if you want access to the rest of the course, you will need to purchase a membership.
You are allowed to cancel your membership after the first 30 days upon acquiring it.
Refunds will not be given should you decide to end your membership.
